In a grueling day of work at the Center for Forestry Research and Experimentation (CIEF), our team carried out the dismantling of an experiment that has come to an end. This research, which involved 200 pots containing various plant species, was designed to explore the effects of drought on vegetation.
With the experiment reaching its conclusion, we embarked on the arduous task of removing the soil from the pots, a job that proved to be more challenging than expected due to the considerable weight of the soil and the pots themselves. However, thanks to the hard work and collaboration of the team, all the pots were stacked and prepared for future projects.
One of the highlights of the day was the creation of “the little train of love,” an ingenious human chain set up to facilitate the transport of the pots. This initiative not only demonstrated the effectiveness of teamwork, but also added a touch of companionshipand fun to the process.
Here you have a picture of our happiness at the end of the work, which we celebrated by writing with our bodies the initials of CIDE… or it was CIEF…?
