Last week we were lucky to host several international and national visitors. The aim was to bring everyone together to discuss and organise a collaborative paper on genetic and non-genetic responses in population ecology, and, if possible, to lay the groundwork for an international collaborative project.
In addition, Francesco and Juli Pausas (CIDE) organised a symposium titled “Phenotypic Responses to Environmental Variability: Understanding the Mechanisms Behind Adaptation”. This event provided an opportunity for Christina Richards (University of South Florida), Vitek Latzel (Institute of Botany of the Czech Republic) and other invited researchers the oportunity to present their work related to this topic.
