Jenna is currently doing her PhD on the role of functional traits in community assembly, resistance and recovery of aquatic plant communities in the Baltic Sea. She came to CIDE to work with Francesco on her data from a field sampling which was aimed to study the community assembly processes of the aquatic plant communities. Her work is being supervised by Camilla Gustafsson and co-supervised by Francesco. Camilla is a researcher at the Tvärminne Zoological Station of the University of Helsinky.
They were with us a for a few weeks and we were able to eat some paella together, show Jenna our fieldwork, and even do some scuba diving in Denia. It was a pleasure to have them here!
