This week we had the visit of the French PhD student Mathilde Dano and she delighted us with a fascinating talk on part of her thesis entitled “Ecological consequences of 50 years of changes in plant biodiversity at regional scale. The case of agro-pastoral habitats in the Armorican Massif”. It was a unique opportunity to delve into her research and explore new perspectives in the field of ecology.
In addition, Mathilde joined us in the field to observe our protocol and the activities we conducted in the field. It was great to have her experience and vision!
But Mathilde’s visit was not limited to work! Since it was her first time in Valencia, she took the opportunity to get to know the city and our local culture. The week culminated with a delicious lunch together with the whole team, where we enjoyed a spectacular paella and shared unforgettable moments.
We would like to thank Mathilde for her company and hope she will be back soon! Her presence has enriched our week and we are sure that her research will continue to inspire us in the future.
Thank you, Mathilde, and see you next time!
